Hi there,

As I sit here in my cozy corner, tea in hand and wrapped in a warm blanket i’m trying to think of the best way to introduce myself and what this blog is all about. I could list out all of my accomplishments, or write a sappy life story about how I have become shaped as a person. But lucky for you, i’ve decided to spare the boring details and cut right to the chase.

I am a 19 year old currently enrolled at the University of Missouri, (biology major if you were curious). Over the past year and  three months  I can not tell you the amount of times i’ve heard the words “get involved” and become a “well rounded person,” “do something that stands out” blah blah blah…So what you’re saying is on top of the million hours of studying a week, working, and an attempt at a social life you want me to put on my superwoman cape and save the world? Funny, but no.

As I trudge through this perpetual lifestyle of ups and downs I figure there has to be something I can do to set myself aside from the rest of the college population.

That’s when I decided to start a blog. Here I will attempt to share with you my love and knowledge for the world of health and fitness. From simple workouts and recipes, to meditation and positive affirmations i’ve got it all and I would LOVE for you to join me in my journey.

Now I may not have a PHD and my writing skills don’t exceed that of a high school education but I promise I will do my best to supply you with an entertaining, all encompassing guide to living a healthy, balanced life.
